Our Story
Exodus Gunleather, LLC was created by Carl and Amy Collins. Carl grew up in the South Carolina and was introduced to firearms at a young age by his father. His interest in hunting, and hobby shooting gave pursuit in acquiring his CCW. Amy’s awareness of firearms came during her time with the US Army. Her military experience lead to the love of target shooting and the understanding of self defense. Carl and Amy were married in 2001 in South Carolina, currently live in Missouri and have three children.
Carl and Amy Collins have 7 years experience in holster making. Carl was the mastermind of the business after becoming frustrated at the long wait time of some holster makers. Carl took on the task of making a holster for himself and through the trials of the process discovered the method for concealed carry holsters. Carl shared his knowledge with his wife, Amy, and taught her to make holsters step by step.
Exodus Gunleather was born a true husband and wife team where both individuals craft handmade leather holsters one by one. Carl and Amy recognize the strengths that each brings to the craft of leather making and is conscious of those strengths throughout the process. Every detail in the development of a holster is examined to ensure the highest quality. While there have been advances to new technology in holster making, Carl and Amy still uses older, hands-on methods to achieve optimum results.

And our exotic hides give our clients the ability to select a holster that equals their unique personality. Exodus Gunleather is solely about the relationship of the client and their 1911.
